In today’s ever-changing global environment, knowing how to work across diverse cultures, borders, and time zones has never been more critical for human resource professionals. In this engaging and interactive workshop, you’ll learn how to be more culturally savvy and bridge the cultural gaps - whether you are working with culturally diverse colleagues, employees, and clients or leading a global team. 

Taught by a cross-cultural expert who has experienced cross-cultural challenges first-hand in over 80 countries, you’ll learn how to avoid cultural faux pas and feel more confident and prepared when interacting across cultures around the globe.  She will also share “lessons learned,” best practices for SHRM professionals, and tips to help you not only be effective but make it possible for you to excel and succeed in this cross-cultural world.

During this workshop, you’ll also learn practical tips, skills and knowledge to:

o   Increase cultural competence – for yourself and your organization

o   Understand how culture impacts HR’s day-to-day world

o   Communicate and collaborate across cultures

o   Understand cultural do’s and don’ts

o   Avoid common cross-cultural pitfalls

o   Develop a global mindset
