Learn how COBRA works by reviewing qualifying events, deductibles and limitations, length of coverage, the election perios and waivers.  Discussion will then focus on the changes to COBRA and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPPA).  HIPPA will be discussed with respect to the portability and coverage issues, as well as an employer's responsibility under the Privacy and Transaction Rules and examples of employer activities exclude from the Rules. 

Members - $450 for all six sessions / $75 per individual session

Non-members - $550 for six sessions / $100 per individual session
